IMAGINATION LIBRARY

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is offered to children aged 0-5 in The Big Country. Early literacy is crucial for a child’s success, and this program provides free books each month to support their development.

SUPPORTING CHILD LITERACY

In The Big Country, only 67% of third-grade students are reading proficiently. Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, an international initiative started by the country music legend, mails free books to children from birth until their fifth birthday.

You can never get enough books into the hands of enough children.

Once registered, United Way of Abilene will process the registration, and your child will start receiving free books each month. Please allow 6-8 weeks for your first book to arrive.
