As Big Country natives and United Way of Abilene supporters for more than 20 years, we know that what makes our community truly special is the generosity of its people. Each day, United Way’s Community Partner agencies provide a powerful network of support and solutions, collaborating to build a safety net for those in need. United Way supports programs that provide affordable childcare for parents who want and need to work but can’t cover the rising cost, a safe place for teens who are experiencing housing instability, a nutritious meal for those who have limited food resources, and access to affordable dental and medical services.
