We work with our Community Partners to address the needs of today and tomorrow while seeking ways to create positive, lasting change. Everyone in West Central Texas is connected and interdependent. In 2021, United Way of Abilene received its 7th consecutive 4-star rating from Charity Navigator. This is the highest possible rating and indicates that our organization adheres to sector best practices and executes our mission in a financially efficient way. Attaining a 4-star rating verifies that United Way of Abilene exceeds industry standards and outperforms most charities in our area of work. Only 8% of the charities receive 7 consecutive 4-star evaluations, indicating that United Way of Abilene outperforms most other charities in America.
